About Grave Archives

Grave Archives is a free, respectful registry of burial and cemetery records — a calm place to find where someone is buried, learn about a cemetery, and (in time) contribute photos and detail. No ads, no upsells, no gamification, no login wall.

The registry is built on authoritative public data: the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator, the USGS Geographic Names cemetery gazetteer, Wikidata, and a growing set of open municipal, county, and council burial registers across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. Every record names its source and license.

We treat this subject matter with the gravity it deserves. Information is presented plainly and accurately; we don't fabricate dates we don't have. We respond to corrections and removal requests with care — email corrections@gravearchives.com.
